Hi RebeccaHappy – great question! The reference to outsource primarily means to outsource away from the business owner to someone who focuses and specializes in social media. Very much like hiring an accountant or lawyer, it makes sense to hire a social media strategist or company to focus on the business’ social media. Then, the owner can focus on building his/her business. Ideally, this work is outsourced to someone local whom the business owner can trust and strategize with over time.

I have a question for you in regards to this outsourcing suggestion. Do you outsource locally and help create sustainable local business or do you go the cheap and outsource it overseas? Part of the problem of today’s economy is giving all our business to China, India and the Phillipines etc..Just a question to know your thoughts.

Really agree with the part that you need to be consistent across your social media channels!
